Martin epitomises our commitment to the development of trainees and is a shining example of how we have developed new entrants into the industry. He joined us as a Trainee Surveyor whilst studying for his Bachelors in Quantity Surveying, and has since become a Professional Member of the Chartered institute of Building and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, which helped him progress from Trainee to his current role as a Managing Director.
His day-to-day work involves delivering ‘The Deeley Way’ as he guides Deeley Construction projects from design through to completion and delivering social value projects to benefit local communities. He has been involved with the builds of retail, housing, educational and healthcare structures, amongst many others. Client satisfaction on contracted projects and the wellbeing of staff are the key project values Martin upholds the most.
Martin is also the Midlands Chair for the National Federation of Builders and a Director for The Holy Cross Multi Academy Trust. Martin is also a big family man and quite the keen runner – having twice completed the London Marathon, whilst raising over £10,000 for The Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer’s Research UK.
