MATERIAL ORDER – TERMS & CONDITIONS:
- Acceptance of this order will imply acceptance of the following conditions of sale:
- That the materials or goods shall be to the reasonable satisfaction of ourselves and/or of our employer’s appointed representative.
- That you will make good by replacement or otherwise, any defects in the materials or goods supplied, and that you will bear any expenses reasonably incurred by ourselves as a direct consequence of such defects.
- That delivery of the materials or goods to be supplied shall be commenced and completed at such times as we may reasonably direct.
- That these conditions shall, where at variance, override any of your own conditions of sale.
- That no goods shall be supplied whether by direct or indirect delivery to site or by collection by any person, in the absence of our official order number for the goods.
- That invoices charging goods at rates higher than those shown on our official order will only be passed for payment so long as the increase has first been notified to us in writing and accepted by us.
- The goods shall comply with British Standards specification, codes of practice or other written or implied standards and shall also be fully governed by the Sale of Goods Act as being suitable for the purpose of which they were designed.
- In accordance with Section 6 of the Health & Safety at Work etc Act 1974 we would be pleased to receive your confirmation that the article or substance to be supplied is safe and without risk to health when properly used. Also, in accordance with the above, please supply details of any tests or examinations carried out and full instructions for the safe use of the article or substance. Reference should also be made to the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998. Delivery drivers will be required to comply with any local health and safety requirement as instructed.
- That invoices shall be rendered in duplicate before the 12th day of the month after delivery, otherwise they will be treated as following month invoices.
