Sam Chandler

Sam joined the Deeley Group in 2023 as Finance Director.

Sam is responsible for leading the Finance Team and overseeing all financial activities, whilst contributing to the achievement of the Group’s corporate strategy and business objectives.

His interest in the construction industry began when he was young as his dad worked in the industry. This no doubt inspired his career, and after a brief period working on site, Sam decided to pursue a career and qualification in accountancy through working for construction and development businesses.

After 30 years in the industry and working for companies such as Kier, Taylor Wimpey and Jarvis, Sam also managed the build of his own home, even helping with some of the construction activities.

Sam has three children who keep him busy, but when he has the chance, he enjoys cycling, indoor climbing and tending to his two pygmy goats on the farm.
