Steve Turner

Steve is responsible for the management and delivery of live projects and his wealth of experience within the organisation means that he has knowledge on a wide variety of schemes including; housing, care, hotels, education, industrial and commercial.

Steve has supported our Operations Manager, Chris Newman, in the delivery of the Lean Construction process – ensuring that our projects are delivered ‘The Deeley Way’.

He takes a hands-on approach to our projects by personally overseeing all projects across the company and regularly attends site meetings to offer board level authority and decision making for projects where required. This approach ensures you do not have to go through levels of staff to reach relevant parties, with all directors taking a hands-on approach to our contracts.

He is one of our longest serving employees, having completed his A levels, Steve started his career in the construction industry with Deeley Construction as a Trainee Surveyor in 2000.

Whilst working for the company Steve attended a series of day release training courses, which concluded with the attainment of a BSc Honours degree in Construction Technology and Management at DeMontfort University in Leicester.

During his time with Deeley, Steve has progressed from Trainee Surveyor to Senior Surveyor and Senior Contracts Manager and was appointed as Construction Director in June 2011 and joined the Deeley Group board in July 2019.

Steve is married with a son and daughter, and is a keen motor sport spectator.
