Chris joined the business in 2013 having already experienced 10 years within the industry, working for his Father’s company. On completion of his degree at Coventry University, he has progressed from Site Management to Contracts Manager, and has demonstrated his ability to deliver in these roles. During 2021 he was appointed as our Operations Manager within the business.
Chris’ continued desire to ‘make a difference’ is what sparks his enthusiasm towards his role. He is at the forefront of our change programmes and business improvements. He consistently measures our capabilities to deliver value to our clients, and with his agile approach, is able to align our goals with both our short term and long-term business strategies. Chris is currently establishing the ‘Deeley Way,’ helping all team members to understand what we are capable of now and in the future. He sees each industry challenge as a genuine opportunity to gain experience and improve.
Chris is our champion toward our digital transformation as a business. He is all about staff development and has implemented systems to help robustly manage our operations and ensure better delivery methods. Chris works tirelessly towards operating in a LEAN environment with modern methods of construction. Reducing wasted activity and creating efficiencies are his objectives, alongside a passion to produce better quality output for our clients.
Chris is a Mental Health Ambassador, valuing our people primarily, he offers support to our staff and always prioritises them. His work as a trustee of the Deeley Group Charity is equally as important to him, as he believes strongly in giving back to the community and to those in greater need.
Although his young family at home are his number one priority, he does enjoy a game of golf or a bit of fishing in his social life from time to time.
