Costa Coffee Drive-Thru Restaurant Wolverhampton

The Deeley Group has delivered a drive-thru Costa Coffee restaurant on a busy junction in Wolverhampton by combining the expertise of Deeley Properties and Deeley Construction.

Deeley Properties worked with property developers Ziran Land to deliver a land and build package to Costa Coffee which has taken a 15-year lease.

Deeley Construction were then appointed to provide a budget for the drive-thru at the junction of Birmingham New Road and Spring Road.

The development has been built on land formerly owned by the Forty Four Club, which will be investing the sale proceeds back into the club and its facilities.

Besides the development being central to upgrading a well-loved community hub, the new unit has created five full-time and twelve part-time jobs.

It is situated on one of the main routes between Wolverhampton and Birmingham, which increases the venue’s footfall from both locals and people using the road network.

Traces of mining activity were found on site, therefore a drilling and grouting exercise was undertaken to ensure the ground stability.

The new building is constructed using a steel frame, with a combination of cladding panels and glazing on the elevations.

In addition, four electric vehicle charging bays have been created and leased to national operator, Osprey Charging Network Ltd, to provide a green footprint and future-proof the venue.

As part of the development package, Deeley created a new access road which will be shared by the Forty Four Club, Osprey and the new Costa drive thru.
