Starley Sportive – Charity Cycle Ride 2024 Coventry

Starley Sportive – Charity Cycle Ride in association with Coventry Road Club…..100% of event income goes to charity!

The Starley Sportive will return to Coventry and Warwickshire roads this September.

The Starley Sportive will take its fundraising up a gear when it returns on Sunday, 22 September 2024 after partnering with Warwickshire and Solihull Blood Bikes for the 2023 edition.

This year’s event features three different routes, with riders choosing from scenic routes of 29 miles, 63 miles and 87 miles through Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, and the Cotswolds.

Through the collaboration of Deeley Group and Coventry Road Club, the Starley Sportive is a new cycle ride that is gaining momentum each year.

On Sunday 24th September 2023, 300 cyclists achieved a hat-trick of aims as the city’s Starley Sportive helped raise around £9,000 for charity.

The sportive – named after the Coventry men who invented the modern bicycle – continues to be a highlight on our calendar and is open to all.

“Many thanks for an excellent Sportive today. Very well organised and sign posted, it was interesting to come at familiar roads from a different direction. At £15 it was very good value compared to a commercial sportive!! Thanks to all involved and to Deeley Group for a magnificent HQ.”
