This design and construction of a combined office and workshop facility supports the development of MIRA’s £300 million technology park
This scheme extends our ongoing relationship with MIRA and again highlights our ability to provide high quality facilities for the research industry.
As well as the construction of the office and workshop facilities, the project involves significant earthworks and extensions to the feeder road for this new section of the Technology Park.
A car park, tenants’ compound and installation of drainage and incoming services complete the works for the new facility.
An extensive value engineering process took place with Deeley Estimators liaising with the client’s team and subcontractors to ensure MIRA can gain the most from their Enterprise Zone Funding.
This also enabled Deeley and its subcontractors to develop the design and mobilise quickly to start construction on site.
With a target of BREEAM very good, this project was an obvious choice to improve our Carbon Footprint via the Construct CO2 programme.
