Meridian 100 Business Park, Leicester

A major renovation to a warehouse and office, the Meridian 100 Business Park in Leicester saw Deeley remove 350 tonnes of steel racking and 300 tonnes of chipboard shelving from a building in order to redevelop the main warehouse floor for potential workers.

The thermal efficiency of the building was improved by the addition of 180mm insulation, while a complete layer of Perspex was added over the roofing.

The distribution capabilities of any perspective tenant were also enhanced by the repair and replacement of eight dock levellers and two level access doors. All of this work helped create a more efficient and staff friendly warehouse area.

In the building’s office area, new carpets were installed and a sample room installed for potential tenants to view, while an overlay of an existing felt roof was put in place and all original plants and equipment removed. The office windows were serviced, as well as painted internally and externally, with cladding also painted.

Access around the building was made easier for people with disabilities after Deeley installed a new DDA access.

To create the perfect first impression a new entrance was installed, as well as a new service yard created and numerous patch repairs carried out.
