Maybrook Retail Park, Stratford-upon-Avon

Located around one mile from Stratford’s town centre, our work on the Maybrook Retail Park involved a major refurbishment and extension project to create new retail facilities, including a new Lidl store.

The works comprised of re-roofing, structural steelwork alterations, complete stripping back of cladding and blockwork to all front elevations and end gable to Unit 1 (the new Lidl).

The new steelwork extension to the rear of Unit 1 to provided extra facilities for Lidl. This included the creation of a loading dock for deliveries.

The onsite car park was also resurfaced and reconfigured, leading to an increase in spaces from 146 to 155.

With our team on site at a thriving retail park, it was crucial that their work was carried out with minimal disruption to other units and customers, in the local area, such as the Maybird Retail Park opposite the site.

As well as providing a place for residents to shop, the development benefits the community by bringing new jobs to the area.

During the construction stage, we separately competitively tendered and secured the fit-out of the Lidl retail unit.
