This new two-storey health centre in Lillington created new benefits to the community, including health services and the creation of more jobs.
The facility integrates different health professionals and supports improved access to services for local residents. The development integrates primary care services alongside a range of community health teams and has supported increased access to vital services for the local population.
Deeley Construction undertook the construction on behalf of partners from South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust and their wholly owned subsidiary company, SWFT Clinical Services, Warwick District Council and Coventry and Warwickshire’s Integrated Care System.
There was currently an overdemand for health services in the area that the current facilities could not keep up with. This new health centre alleviates that strain in Lillington.
The aluminium windows will include features such as solar shading and shutters which will allow the clients to control the sunlight that shines into the rooms.
Laminated faced door sets were installed, as well as PV, air source heat pumps and underfloor heating. Externally, the works included hard and soft landscaping.
