The new Costa drive-thru facility forms part of the Rosebird Retail Park, and has been created in partnership with the Bird Group to add to their retail and hospitality offering at the Stratford-based site.
The Bird Group has been working on the Rosebird retail site for over a decade, with the creation of the Costa drive-thru marking the latest phase of its development. Deeley Construction were approached due to our open book approach to negotiating projects in the retail sector.
The neogitation stage was made particularly difficult by material shortages and price rises, however Deeley Construction worked in collaboration with The Bird Group and architects Corstorphine & Wright to ensure the project was delivered in line with client and planning requirements.
The building is a traditional brick and block structure, utilising the unique ‘White Lias’ stonework which will be enhanced through the innovative roof designed by the architect.
Since planning permission was given in February 2021 on land adjacent to the Rosebird Community hall, in partnership with the Bird Group, Deeley has worked closely with the community hall to ensure the latest addition to the amenity offering at Stratford has met their expectations.
The £730,000 development on Shipston Road in Stratford-upon-Avon created 12 full time and 12 part time jobs in the retail sector.
