Bloor Homes Regional Offices, Lichfield

Deeley Construction once again delivers a high-specification BREEAM ‘Excellent’ facility for one of the UK’s Top 10 house builders.

The new 18,500 square foot two-storey building accommodates Bloor Homes’ 50 members of staff, with capacity to train and develop staff in order to help meet the critical regional and national housing needs.

Deeley Construction built the project to BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standard to futureproof the client’s environmental credentials.

The ‘Excellent’ certification demonstrates the stringent benchmarks used to asses the building’s specification design, construction with focus on reduced carbon emission, low impact design, adaptation to climate change, ecological value and diversity protection.

By achieving this level of certification, the projects meets some of the most demanding environmental standards in the construction industry, providing occupants with a more resource-efficient building that supports both human wellbeing and ecological preservation. The project features 20 EV charging points and 6 solar PV panels.

The structure consists of a steel frame with SFS supporting cladding carrier panels – a mixture of red brick and cladding with a slate roof finish that completes the external façade.
