This new build continued our relationship with LondonMetric Properties to extend and enhance their retail park offering.
Our ability to manage construction work, in close proximity to the general public and other tenants, is what has continued to attract LondonMetric to us. On this project, Deeley Construction carried out the construction of the shell for an 18,500 sq. ft. Aldi store, car park and associated works to landscaping.
The project was adjacent to residents homes’ therefore, we undertook regular noise monitors and liaised with the residents to ensure their needs were met. In addition to our residential neighbours, the scheme was adjacent to a highway which was undergoing an extensive roadworks programme.
We therefore liaised regularly with Highways England and the main contractor to agree logistics of two contractors working in close proximity. Following the completion of this scheme, we continued our work with LondonMetric by constructing a Costa Coffee on the retail park.
