Deeley Construction provides support to partner LondonMetric once again with the construction of a B&M store.
Deeley Construction returned to the retail park where our relationship with LondonMetric began in 2012, when we first carried out the repair of the fire damaged Dreams and Dunelm units.
Our ability to manage construction work, in close proximity to the general public and other tenants, is what has continued to attract LondonMetric to us.
On this project, Deeley Construction carried out the construction of the shell for the B&M store. The works also involved the reconfiguration of the existing retail park entrance and additional parking spaces.
This required us to implement a rigorous and well-planned traffic management system, as this was the only entrance in and out of the retail park. Multiple phases, which involved the creation of a temporary access road, ensured access was not disrupted and stores continued to trade successfully.
With the close proximity to Coventry Airport, a ban on cranes because of air traffic control height restrictions was imposed on site, therefore alternative methods of construction were implemented.
