We have provided a state-of-the-art horticulture development for the Warwickshire College Group.
Deeley Construction won the tender to transform Pershore College by building a new 18,500 sq ft glass complex. This new teaching facility houses a science and technology centre, teaching rooms, project spaces and extensive research and development facilities.
The new building’s entrance presents visitors with an impressive ‘collections house’ which features numerous varieties of flora which can be seen via a walkway upon entering the building and from a viewing gallery above.
The new building is within the college boundary, therefore the construction took place in a live college environment. Building on years of experience, Deeley Construction ensured the safety of the pupils and delivered a high value teaching facility to benefit the students for years to come.
The scheme will feature a Monodraught natural ventilation system linked to window actuators. Air source heat pumps, rainwater harvesting and the reuse of hardcore from the site demolition contribute to the environmental features of the project.

“Warwickshire College Group selected Deeley Construction to Design and Construct the New Teaching Building at Pershore College. The works have been undertaken within a live environment and the Contractor has been courteous and flexible in his approach to the work to minimise unavoidable disruption to the College. The Design Development Process has been well managed by the Contractor, meeting and at times exceeding the Employer's expectations.”
